Crochet Patterns

Many of my projects start with an idea, but without a concrete pattern or instructions. I try to write understandable patterns that hopefully not only I can follow. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone who I can give them to read through and repeat. Therefore, my patterns may not always be clearly formulated or may even contain errors. So don't be afraid to write to me if you have any questions or find errors.

[1 sc, 1 inc sc] repeat till end of round (= 18st)

[2 sc, 1 inc sc] repeat till end of round (= 24st)

[3 sc, 1 inc sc] repeat till end of round (= 30st)
R6-R11

30 sc each round
R12

[3 sc, 1 dec sc] repeat till end of round (= 24st)
R13

[2 sc, 1 dec sc] repeat till end of round (= 18st)

I filled it after R29, if yours is smaller, I would suggest to start around R15 and continue filling as you crochet.

eyes: I set the eyes between R7 and R8 with a gap of 4 stiches.

front loop only: inc sc, sc, ch, 2 dc, ch, sc, 2x inc sc, 4 sc, inc sc (= 20st)
 

Sew the beak such that the dc is between the eyes.

hint: keep long string at the beginning for sewing later.

R3-9 12 sc each round (= 12st)
R10 dec each sc (= 6st)
R11

Flatten the upper end and close it by crocheting through both sides:

3 sc (= 3st)
R12

turn, 2 chains and 1 sc in second chain from the hook,

1 sc (in last st of R11),

3 chains and 2 sc starting from second chain from the hook,

1 sc (in second st of R11),

2 chains and 1 sc in second chain from hook,

1 sc (in first st of R11)
 

Sew the arms such that the fingers are at the same hight as the eyes.

Sew the feets to the body at R29.
